Idea Contest

Fondation Montréal inc., hosts the Leverage Your Idea University Challenge presented by National Bank and organised in collaboration with Montréal-based Universities. For the 2017 edition of the contest, which runs from September 25th to October 25th, we are looking for students, foreign students and university graduates aged 18 to 35 who are interested in submitting a business idea.

In order to stimulate the creation of startups, finalists and participants will be invited at a 24-hours entrepreneurial bootcamp on November 17 and 18. The event provided the participants the skills and tools they need to get their ideas off the ground. Three winners will be selected by a jury at the end of the bootcamp.

An initiative of Fondation Montréal Inc., this contest is intended to promote entrepreneurship on Montreal college campuses and identify young students and graduates with good business ideas with the objective of motivating them to create new businesses.

The National Bank, official sponsor of the contest, has joined the initiative to help the next generation of entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.

The donation of the Banque Nationale to Fondation Montréal Inc. is closely connected to the founding mission of our institution, which was established more than 150 years ago to support entrepreneurs and the business community.
