15 New Fondation du maire : le Montréal inc. de demain Laureates

The new cohort of fall 2011 laureates of the Fondation du maire : le Montréal inc. de demain was unveiled on December 12 in the context of a cocktail party at the Foundation offices to welcome them.

Following a rigorous analysis of the submissions conducted by our volunteers from the business community, 15 Montreal businesses were selected among the 86 projects received. The most promising companies in terms of job and prosperity creation, innovation and market reach and the most ambitious and strong teams of entrepreneurs stood out. In this case, these new laureates will share $200,000 and will be awarded a grant varying between $7,500 and $25,000 to accelerate the launch of their business.

The Foundation team met these young businessmen and women with great pride. They, on their part, said that they were delighted to be able to count on the Foundation's support and demonstrated a keen interest in its free consulting services offered in the form of coaching, mentoring and training by the 250 experienced business personalities that are involved as Foundation volunteers.
